Flying Trapeze at 6 AM!

It's 6 am, and these kids from the Peru Amateur Circus are already in costume and ready to perform their flying trapeze act. This was for Fox channel 59 TV who was doing a live morning news broadcast. The flying act had just performed the evening before at about 9:30 PM.
The air conditioning in the building had been on all night, and it was like being in a refrigerator!

One hour before showtime, these kids with the Peru Amateur Circus did a mini circus in downtown Peru. The wagon, which is on loan from the Circus Hall of Fame, was used in the 1951 movie "The Greatest Show on Earth".

Wenatchee Youth Circus, on Tour

As their 2010 season nears it's end, this photo taken on the 4th of July shows the enthusiasim that the Wenatchee Youth Circus has had on it's youngsters....for 58 consecutive years!

Adjusting the Banners

When the two CFA banners at the Peru Circus needed adjusting, 40 feet up in the "cat walk", members of the flying trapeze act volunteered to do the job!
