On Tour With the WENATCHEE YOUTH CIRCUS, 2009

The Pride of the Pacific Northwest!

31 days...only 31 days on the road for the 57th edition of our show.  Usually we are out for 45 to 60 days...but with the economy a bit slower we feel lucky to do what we have done.   The weather has been quite warm...breaking records for heat on both sides of the mountains...but no rain outs.

Memorable moments for many of the troupe...for example...Emily Pratt, an outsatnding high wire performer added theart of Fire Eating to her reportoire of circus skills.   Billy Tuthill keeps working towards the double back flip on the flying trapeze to add to the forward up overand the single back flip, as well as continuing his daring high wire antics and inclined cable walking sans balancing pole.   Nathan McCort accomplished the triple back somersault on the teeterboard, while Kana West fit nicely into the role of the flying act catcher.

Now the season ends and we have a new season to look forward to with excitement and anticipation as "The Biggest Little Circus in the World" again takes to the road...  Paul Pugh
