CIRCUS4YOUTH
Attends AYCO Festival

The 2007 American Youth Circus Organization Festival (AYCO) was in Normal, Illinois from August 8 - 12.  It was held on the campus of the Illinois State University and was hosted by their very own Gamma Phi Circus.  Despite the extremley warm temperatures outside, a unique 3/3 air conditioning system was devised.  Open 3 doors...and run 3 fans (that's a joke).  In reality, the main Horton Field house, despite not being air conditioned was not as uncomfortable as everyone had thought it might be.  The lower south gym was a bit warm, but everyone was having to much fun to complain.

The Circus Fans Association of America's Circus4Youth committee was well represented with 5 members, 3 of whom are youth circus trainers.  In this photo essay, we see youth circus performers brushing up on their skills, and learning new ones with the help of many dedicated adult trainers from youth circuses all over the country
