MEET the CIRCUS4YOUTH COMMITTEE & REPORTERS  Submitted by Editor on   2/5/2009 Last Modified Meet the Circus Fans Association of America, and their Circus4Youth Committee    The White Tops magazine is the official publication of the Circus Fans Association, which sponsors Circus4Youth. It comes out 6 times a year and often features articles and photos on youth circus.  The Circus4Youth Committee  Jim Cole (center) is the CFA Youth Committee Chairman, and Circus4Youth editor.  This photo is with friends the Cristiani family at the Circus Hall of Fame.  Jim is a retired firefighter and lives in St. Cloud, FL. Jessica Hentoff is the director of  Circus Harmony in St. Louis, MO.  She has been a professional circus aerialist. Her 2 dogs, Peek-a-Boo & Dusty just had to get in the picture. Bill Anderson has been the head trainer at the Peru Amateur Circus in Peru, IN for many years.  He is now their Director of Operations.    Left: Al Light, who is the asscociate director of the Flying High Circus at Florida State University.   Right:  Bob Sugarman from Shaftsbury, VT, wrote a book on youth circuses in 1997 "Circus for Everyone".       Left, Dick Hamilton is the former director of the Berkshire Community College's Circus Camp in Pittsfield, MA.  Right: Ken & Jan Sopelak, from Simsbury, CT, active CFA members who have made a good connection with the Children's Circus of Middletown, CT. Don V. Smith is the unicycle coach at the P.A.L. Sailor Circus in Sarasota, FL. Don Covington has vast knowledge of circus operations and history. His daughter was both a performer and trainer in youth circus.    Left:  Our youngest committee member, 21 year old Maria Balogh is an advanced aerialist & trainer with Circus Juventas in St. Paul, MN Right:  Deborah Grosmark who is on the board of the "Amazing Grace Circus!" in Nyack, NY.  She is a professional photographer and has two daughters who are in AGC!    Left:   Paul Pugh is the founder and director of the Wenatchee, WA Youth Circus. Right: Cheryl Lindly is the co-director of the Sophia Isadora Academy of Circus Arts in San Diego, CA Pete Adams, former CFA President, who lives in Sarasota, FL is the "Sponsored Youth CFA Membership"  Chairman  Meet the Circus4Youth Reporters 14 year old Khera Smith is with the PAL Sailor Circus in Sarasota, FL. 16 year old Ashlee Bales is also with the PAL Sailor Circus in Sarasota, FL. 16 year old Colin Quin is with the Peru Amateur Circus in Peru, Indiana. 17 year old Elliana Hentoff - Killian is with the St. Louis Arches & Circus Harmony in St. Louis, MO 17 year old Erin Purcell,  "My Nose Turns Red" Circus Theater, Covington, KY 17 year old Gracie White,  Circus Juventas, St. Paul, MN 13 year old Megan Grosmark is with the Amazing Grace Circus! in Nyack, NY Interested in being a Circus4Youth Reporter?
